1100883960
Answer Summary:
The answer was found by multiplying several numbers together, posted as "bases" to look like a perfume blend, on several locations on Myspace.com, including the Keepers group page, Kovacs's profile, Szaglas's profile, and the last clue being posted as a comment to some players' profiles (the assumption being those with public profiles, that didn't have the option to approve comments, or other "security" measures turned on in their profiles).
The numbers were: 54 parts Oakmoss, 23 Parts Myrrh, 91 Parts Orange, 60 parts clove, 11 parts sandalwood, 17 parts grapefruit, 17 parts vanilla, 12 parts litsea cubeba, and 79 parts musk. The clue on the napkin found by Melisande said "Just to be safe...base recipe...be unfruitful...and multiply". The answer was found by excluding the fruit bases (orange, grapefruit, and litsea cubeba), and multiplying the numbers corresponding to the oil bases.

Outstanding Questions and Speculation

  • Some agents are still wondering if certain characters were "in game" or not.
  • Through Madame Szaglas we met her recently fired assistant, Katalin.
  • When looking at Katalin's "Friends" on her MySpace page, we found Ersebet.
  • While looking around MySpace, Agent Paulette found Keja-Lilli Garr.
  • She is a friend of Captaine Badeau and Bob Mumford! Was she supposed to be a part of the story?
  • And many other agents wonder if Guy LePan, the Mime Man had more of a hand in The Keepers or the crime...he seemed to know a lot for an ex-assistant of Madame Szaglas.
  • Questions or comments on the Lucky Advertisement seem to still be unanswered:
  • Inside the Parisian Police Headquarters two text messages are sent. One from the corner of a jail cell (how did SJP get her cell phone inside the cell?) The other from a corner office several floors above (Captaine to who?)
  • Shards of glass can be very revealing. (The only thing weird we found with this scene was SJP was NOT wearing Manolo's as stated in the police report)
  • Jail cells have many hiding places.(Is this where SJP found a cell phone?)
  • Is it a blank piece of paper or is there a hidden message. (No blank pieces of paper found)
  • Study the crime scene, there's more than meets the eye. ???
  • In the picture on the Covet Sample postcard, a very noticeablely written word written on the jail cell wall is illegible
